Amy Abernethy

Dr. Abernethy is the Co-chair of Arsenal’s Digital and AI Advisory Board. She is the Co-founder of Highlander Health, an investment portfolio and a platform for learning across care settings. Previously, she was the President of Product Development and Chief Medical Officer at Verily, where she led the development and delivery of solutions that bridge the gap between clinical research and care. Prior to Verily, Dr. Abernethy served as Principal Deputy Commissioner of Food and Drugs of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) and the agency’s acting Chief Information Officer. Before the FDA, Dr. Abernethy was Chief Medical Officer, Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President of Oncology of Flatiron Health.
